To escape the Troll wars that had plagued them, the Elves of Frontmire had migrated to the coast at the southern end of the peninsula where they lived in geographic isolation. They farmed the fertile plains and fished the warm, marine-green waters of the Korkaran Sea and the cold, dark Mage River. They thought they had left their problems behind. As the centuries passed, through disuse, their magic became dormant, and they became as any other race.
When Jerhad the Elf agrees to run what should have been a simple “errand” for a Druid presenting himself as an old man, he has no idea of how Destiny is about to change his life, not to mention the trouble he’s about to get into. He’s not on the trail for long when the first attempt on the parcel he carries occurs by Gnomes sent by the wizard, Avenar. Suddenly, his innate magic awakens, and he escapes. However, his is way off course now. In the Human village of Rain’s Bottom, he meets a soldier, Stanton Farrell, whom Fate throws together as traveling companions as together they flee the trappers that attempt to rob and murder them: the Gnomes are still hot on Jerhad’s heels. The Elf is befriended by Mordock, a Giant, and later by the Dwarves.
Jerhad also meets a Human female, Andreanna, the sole survivor of a Troll raid on her hometown. Andreanna has been trained in Proficiency of Weapons and in Survival by the Druids. She falls in love with the “Elf Boy” and will not be parted from him. A strong and independent personality, she entertains herself by making her “Elf Prince” blush and teasing “Squad Leader Stanton”, becoming a proverbial thorn in his side.
The dark wraiths kidnap Andreanna, and Jerhad is lost in a world of evil dreams, while Morlah battles the Black Mage from the winged Bornodald’s back. Stanton is forced to assume the position of Commander to shore up Breezon’s defenses. Accompanied by forty Giants from overseas, the Dwarf King mobilizes his army to assist Breezon, but more so, for the sake of the future King of the Elves. Morlah’s quest and the future of the Elven nation lie in peril, but the captain of the ghost ship, the Druid Queen, has a plan!
All could be lost. Perhaps Fate will intervene.

Read your sample chapters. Your premise is interesting but there is a problem with the rhythm of the writing for my tastes. Have you had an outside editor/proofreader look at the book. It has the feel of a piece of work that is almost complete but needs a few minor polishes. I will keep a watch on this space for further updates.
